Mary Riggins’ 33-Year Journey at Sanctuary Evangelistic Church
For over three decades, Mary Riggins has faithfully served Sanctuary Evangelistic Church,
pouring love, dedication, and unwavering commitment into every role. From humble beginnings
to impactful leadership, Mary’s journey is a testament to servant leadership and devotion to God
and the community.
Starting as a janitor, Mary demonstrated an unmatched work ethic, ensuring the church
environment was always welcoming and conducive to worship. Whether sweeping the floors,
maintaining the facilities, or preparing the church for services, each task was done with a spirit
of excellence.
A gifted singer, Mary also became an integral part of the worship ministry, leading the
congregation in powerful songs of praise and worship. Her voice helped elevate the spiritual
atmosphere, touching the hearts of many and drawing them closer to God.
Beyond serving in the background, Mary played an active role in the church’s fellowship and
outreach efforts. As a cook, she fed countless members and visitors, ensuring that everyone felt
at home during events and gatherings. Each meal shared was a reflection of Mary’s nurturing
spirit.
In addition, as a greeter, Mary always had a warm smile and a welcoming presence, making
newcomers feel loved and accepted. It’s this genuine hospitality that made Mary a beloved
figure in the church family.
Perhaps most significantly, Mary embraced the role of evangelist, sharing the message of Christ
with others and bringing many to faith. She has faithfully carried out the Great Commission,
reaching out to the lost, discipling new believers, and contributing to the growth of God’s
kingdom.
Through 33 years of dedication, Mary Riggins has touched lives, made lasting memories, and
